Creative Writing - Bring your Writing for Children to Life
Overview
This interactive workshop is designed for those who have already come up with an idea, pitch or draft for a work of children’s or teen literature, no matter how early the stage.
What will we cover?
There will be introductory analysis of the style and language of Children’s Literature with reference to some celebrated works and key excerpts. There will be a chance to share work already completed and to receive feedback and suggestions in a friendly, supportive and relaxed environment. Whether you cherish ambitions of having your work published, see yourself sharing it with friends or family, or simply would like to complete a challenge you have set yourself- this workshop will give you confidence in taking the next steps. Through the day’s activities it is also hoped that participants will come to view Children’s Literature in a fresh light!
