Flower Arranging - Flowers for Weddings


Learn all you need to do to create a wedding bouquet, a buttonhole and a table centrepiece for that special day!

What will we cover?

During the day you will cover three key floral components of any wedding day; the bridal bouquet, a table arrangement and a buttonhole. You will learn a variety of techniques and how to use seasonal flowers.
We will make a handtied bridal/bridesmaid bouquet with a ribboned handle. You will also learn how to care for your flowers to promote longevity to your design.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

Any prospective bride or mother of the bride (who has been asked to help) or anyone who has a love of flowers and wants to expand their knowledge and skill set. No previous experience or knowledge is required and those with some experience may wish to expand their creativity

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

A list of materials will be sent out prior to the start date as you will have to provide your own flowers, foliage and materials.
Equipment: scissors, bucket for flowers, plastic sheet or cloth to work on, small knife, notebook and pen.
You may wish to bring a camera to record your work.

It is essential that you wear closed toe shoes (not sandals or flip flops) and bring an apron or wear old clothes.

What can I do when I finish the course?

Further short courses and weekly classes are available that cover a range of topics from seasonal specialities to themed designs.

Additional information

The fee does not cover the cost of materials – you will need to purchase these as well as the equipment that you use.

If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
