Hand Embroidery - Sewing for Fun!
Hand Embroidery - Sewing for Fun! [REF4379G]: Overview
This course is aimed to help you start embroidery from scratch or, if you have already some knowledge, to help you become confident with the many different stitches and techniques that can be used to design and create your own beautiful embroidery
What will we cover?
We will cover preparation techniques, including framing up and tracing designs. We will go back to basics looking at needles and thread and how to get started. If you are new to embroidery you will learn the most useful and most commonly used stitches; if you are returning to embroidery you will be encouraged to develop your skills, learn and become confident with new stitches and techniques and to create your own designs. As a group we will look at different ways of designing using a variety of resources
