Textiles - Painting & Printing on Fabric [ADF2504G]: Overview

Have you ever wanted to try painting and printing onto fabric to enhance your textile projects. This could be printing motifs for clothing, painting landscape backgrounds for embroidery or creating abstract textures for patchwork or appliqué.

What will we cover?

We will start by experimenting with fabric paints to build up textures and scenes; we will practise printing with Indian woodblocks using special inks; creating abstract texture using a marbling technique and special paints.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

For anyone interested in experimenting and being creative with fabrics and paints. This would suit learners who have an interest in any textile mediums.
