This course is very rewarding and challenging. If you enjoy the debate, critical thinking and research, then this course will push your understand further. There is a time management appreciation with this course so you must ensure you have time to dedicate to this postgraduate committment. Its been worth the effort so far.

I did the final year of the Graphic Design degree-having done an HND in Typographic Design 12 years ago! For me, it was the perfect solution to top the HND up. In fact, it was the only option. A job, family, financial commitments etc. made sure of that! The course is hard work; be sure you're ready to commit the time and effort. But, if you do, ...

I'll start from the beginning, I was unable to attend Uni at 18 due too it not being a financial option. But after an 11 year wait and a bit of sub-life crisis at 28 I discovered IDI and found that I could achieve my goal of gaining my Design Degree whilst still holding down a full time job. With graduation happening in the summer of 2016 my dre...

I chose IDI as I wanted a high standard degree, but was unable to attend a university in person. I can manage my studies around my other commitments and work at any time or day suits me best. The course is well organised and access to the tutors is very good. We also engage with our peers over a closed forum so we are all there to help each othe...

Instead of taking the usual route of attending a physical university I elected to complete my degree in Illustration at home. At the beginning, I hadn't expected the workload or appreciated just how much self-discipline was involved - turns out it is very different to study and not have a tutor hovering over you to get the work done. The work yo...

I have been studying on my undergraduate degree part time since October 2012 and it has been an extremely fulfilling experience with the Interactive Design Institute. As my course is long distance learning online, it requires strict motivation and self discipline that can often be hard to maintain, however the staff and the structure of the cour...

The course is thorough and demanding though this was to be expected. One must be self-motivated and manage time to balance the demands of school, work, and life. The support is excellent and in all honesty it is as good as it could be considering it is a distance learning course and will therefore never entirely rival or replace attending a univ...

Going back to study after years of working posed as great challenge to me. Yet the staffs and tutors was such a marvelous support in making that transition rewarding and at most part, easy for me. The tutors I worked with work tirelessly in helping me understand the subject and allowing me room to express my view. The peer review was a great hel...

I have just completed my fist year with the Interactive Design Institute, studying Graphic Design & Illustration part time. The learning path with support materials and activities is a brilliant structure which gives guidance but leaves room for personal creativity and exploration. I have found all of the modules incredibly interesting and engag...

As a working professional, it was very important to me that I invested in an online program that would take me to the next level in my career. IDI is not only partnered with a highly ranked university, but also has the most established online learning program in the UK. I did many weeks of research before applying for the M.A. program at IDI. I ...

Studying via distance learning isn't for everyone, as you will need to be self motivated and organised to get the best from the experience, but if you're looking for flexibility and lots of one-to-one tutor support then this is by far the best place for art and design courses. There are lots of opportunities for peer interaction via the forums t...

Hi! I am a student at IDI at level 4 in my first semester and chose the "full accelerated" mode of study and will receive my BA Hons degree in 2 years. You can also choose "part-time" or "full-time" depending on what your personal time frame is that will allow you to do this course. I can only recommend this course of study to anyone that has be...

This course is able to offer a Masters level program online and the standard of course materials, structure of the curriculum and tutor support is second to none. I studied for my BA with idi and gained a 1st. I no have no hesitation in recommending the MA Program for those who cannot attend campus based studies.

I have been studying with the interactive design institute now since 2012 and have found the course very informative and staff and tutors extremely helpful. In the last two years I had a short period where I found it difficult to keep up with the work load due to personal commitments however student support as well as my course leader could not ...

I have been studying now with IDI. The course is not flexible at all. The modules learning tools is very old there are no video learning lectures nor flexible submission time which called off the fundamental principle of distance education. Tutors are v. good but yet they need to understand that this is an online course so not to ask too much fr...

I love studying @ IDI! I'm 2 semesters into my 1st year and already I feel I've made great progress professionally and personally. I'm finding the distance learning environment fantastic for me and it fits in really well around my family. I'm a mature student so to be able to do a degree in this stage in my life is amazing. I have been studying with IDI for the past year and have found the course to be fun, varied and well structured. I chose to complete my Illustration degree via distance learning as I wanted to travel and the course allowed me to do this. It is not without it's struggles though, although I am a part time student it is important not to underestima...

I chose to study with IDI as it provided me with an opportunity to study in a flexible manner alongside my current job as a restaurant manager. This has allowed me to pay for my course as I have been working through it. I had written off my chances of acquiring a degree that would provide the opportunity of a new career, so discovering IDI was a...

I am coming to the end of my Art and Design Foundation Course and for me it has been inspiring and challenging in just the way I hoped for. I decided to take this course at the start of my retirement - at last an opportunity to increase my art knowledge and create in a consistent way. It has certainly stretched me, new techniques are not always ...

Because I currently live abroad, IDI offer the best solution for me to study at this level. I've been studying full time for the last 6 months and I have found the...
