Just in time for Easter why not try our Chocolate course, it is perfect for beginners and chocolate enthusiasts who wish to learn the essential tricks from the trade to improve their skills. Whether you are simply passionate about chocolate, work in a bakery, hotel, restaurant or an avid enthusiast, The Manchester College can offer the perfect course to provide you with the skills and knowledge to be successful within the hospitality and catering industries.This three-week, part time day course will take you through the journey and history of chocolate, how to work with chocolate and what specialist confections you can create with chocolate. Initially you will learn the wide range of techniques used when tempering chocolate. Secondly, you will put your theory into practice and produce delicious treats, ranging from chocolate truffles and modelling chocolate, leading up to your own chocolate show piece.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have a passion for working with chocolate and the enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge.
