I felt the whole thing was absolutely superb for me. From my point of view, all the resources were there, everything I needed, and if I needed something I would follow up with reading up on reference points. It was perfect for me, in fact I found myself going off on a tangent reading stuff, piling in the knowledge!

I want to thank you personally, Stephanie, because without your calls, your understanding of my special needs and your support along the way, I would have struggled to complete the course if at all. Thank you, you are a star

The skills network offers an ideal opportunity to gain new knowledge and a qualification in areas that might not be possible through work but which may be important for your personal development for the future

The tutors are friendly, honest, helpful and quick at getting back to you. I work in behavioural in alternative provision and these courses are recognised by schools. Highly recommend them.

You should try it! I did it for work and it was quite interesting, as I learnt a lot. Going to pass the books onto a friend who has an autistic son

I’d have to give it 5 stars! Without studying AAT, it would be harder to understand what I’m doing in my job role – work and study both go hand in hand. In practice, it’s beneficial to be studying AAT whilst working, as it means that you’re constantly using what you’ve learnt with AAT and putting it all to use makes it easier to understand it all!

Compared to other courses, it was a lot more detailed. I liked how the course didn’t just teach you about the people with behaviour that challenges, but about how it affects those who care for them and work with them, and how their health and feelings are affected. Eye-opener.

I have been able to apply the course to my everyday team work - I apply the Belbin theory that I learnt on the course. Every team role has contributions to make and I can use their allowable weaknesses as a positive in the teams role. Funny enough I was able to identify myself in one of the team roles and how others could perceive me. It was an ...

I think the mental health course was really interesting, it really helped with understanding parents and different circumstances, so not just the children we work with.

The online system with all the units and breakdown of sections is really clear and easy to use. You can log in and pick up from where you left off, you can overview all the questions in the units you’re studying, and there are numerous examples and practice questions which are downloadable and printable to keep on file for your own study notes.

Studying AAT alongside working has helped me grasp concepts at work so much quicker and allowed me to be able to carry out tasks with a lot more ease than if I hadn’t studied the AAT content. I am glad that I chose to learn via distance learning because this means that I am able to work at my own pace which is vital. Being able to just log in at...

The AAT course filled the gaps in my knowledge and helped me understand the processes I carry out during my working day – it has given me the confidence that I need! The course was chosen by my employer who had extensively researched the market. I found the online resources and guides invaluable. The course materials were really clear, concise a...

Informative, excellent and really pleased. I just hope the next one is as good… You're great at keeping in touch and getting involved, some places don't do that, it's been brilliant.

I believe that it could be the future of learning. People are getting busier and busier with juggling more than one job and more than one profession and having this, that and the other on the go. It's really important to find time to develop yourself, to find something that you're passionate and interested in and to go with that.

The feedback that I have been given is exceptionally detailed and if I needed to just expand on something a little more, they've explained what you need to expand on, and they've basically told me where to get the information from to expand on what I've already done... When I had the feedback from my tutor I actually reaslised, oh year that's wh...

Definitely it's given me another layer of confidence of how you apply your job. The mantra if you know better you do better is absolutely true. It's given me real clarity of thought with regards to people with mental health issues. I'm more thoughful with my language and terminology now, I can be more specific. You don't realise at the time but ...

The reason I chose the skills network was due to the fact that I could use my advanced learners loan to cover all costs, not just the study. They have made everything so far very easy, including renewing my AAT membership and booking exams for me. The EQUAL learning platform is vey easy to use and delivers the course in very easy to digest smal...
