Design thinking is a key tool that your training organization should be using to address the changing business needs of your current and future workforce. By adopting this agile, solution-based methodology, you’ll learn to deeply understand the problem(s) at hand, and arrive more quickly at innovative solutions, all while continuously gaining buy-in from key stakeholders. Because design thinking is a form of human-centered design, this methodology offers you a framework for addressing training needs while also considering the learner’s experience.
This highly interactive half-day master class will prepare you, as a learning manager, to use design thinking as a key tool for diagnosing business problems and managing the design and innovation of learning management solutions at your organization. During this master class, we will define design thinking, discuss why it’s a valuable tool for training organizations today and practice how to apply design thinking within your organization.

Training Industry master classes are valid for five PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, 3.50-4.00 general recertification credit hours toward a PHR™, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi®, and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) and fulfill four CPTM recertification credit hours.
