Dealing With Difficult People & Situations - Professional Development from Training Works

If you’re not happy - we won’t invoice you. The purpose of this enjoyable, interactive workshop is to enable delegates to become more assertive in the workplace. The tools and techniques covered will enable delegates to deal with situations in a confident and diplomatic way and will improve their communication skills.

The day will be a mixture of theory, discussion and practical exercises. Content can be adjusted to suit your organisation, just ask!

This course is suitable for anyone who has to interact with other people where difficulties or conflict can arise. It can be designed to suit your organisation and is great for beginners and a wonderful refresher for more experienced delegates.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon finishing this course.

Training content

The day will be a mixture of theory, discussion and practical exercises, and, depending on the needs of the business, can cover topics such as:

  • Understanding behavioural types
  • The seven rights of the assertive person
  • Five step approach to basic assertiveness
  • Behaviour inventory
  • Broken record technique
  • Fogging technique
  • Handling complaints
  • Constructive criticism


Prices start from £795 per day. This includes all phone calls, planning, admin, preparation, design, delivery, training packs, copy write of the materials for the future and an email copy of the notes by request.
