After seven years off air, Shipwrecked returns to E4, bringing together nine contestants to battle over the £50,000 prize money.

The contestants will be split into two tribes named the Sharks and Tigers. New contestants who join the island will have to decide which one to join, with the biggest tribe at the end of the contest taking home the prize money.

The initial group has since been revealed by E4.

Flick through the below gallery to find out more about each person, the majority of whom are either students or models – none of them are celebrities, although one is a “social media influencer”.

Vick Hope, who recently appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, replaces Craig Kelly as the show’s narrator.

“There are some amazing characters, epic bombshells and lovely waves of nostalgia ahead,” Hope said of joining the show.

Every weeknight for three weeks from 28 January, the channel will be airing a new episode of Shipwrecked.
